Television and magazines continue to play important roles in children’s lives, but the competition for their share of attention is intense. Today’s successful TV series for younger audiences will involve merchandise, licensing and links to other media, to ensure an economic proposition.

CLIENTS / CASE STUDIES - TV & PUBLISHING

"Our research with ChildWise is an important element in our magazine partwork development process, helping us to produce publications that stand out and succeed in this very competitive market"
Maggie Calmels, Editorial Director, Eaglemoss Publications

Our TV RESEARCH includes input to programme development, from initial idea, via pilot stage, to on air, looking at merchandising opportunities, and evaluating potential acquisitions.

Little Robots – pre-school TV series – Create TV and Film Ltd – www.littlerobots.com

ChildWise carried out research with parents and with young children, via observation  and discussion groups, from initial concept stage through to finished episodes.

Likeaballs – cartoon series for 6-11 year old boys – Animated Adventures and Pictures.  Initial research looked at the potential role of the Likeaballs characters for use on the FA Premier League website.  Further research provided input to the development of the series.

PUBLISHING, we have worked closely with Eaglemoss Publications for several years, and together have developed a powerful research process to assist in the success of their children's partwork series.

See The Horrible Histories Collection, Jackie Chan, Make It Groovy, Magical World of Roald Dahl
