ChildWise: People

People ChildWise is focused on delivering effective, innovative and actionable solutions to our clients’ research problems. Our team is committed and enthusiastic in fulfilling this aim. We feel privileged to work in this exciting sector, and enjoy the constant surprises that come from talking to children and young people. Many of us have children of our own, or are involved with young people in our personal lives, giving first-hand insight and understanding into our audience. Key staff include:
	Rosemary Duff - Director rosemary.duff@childwise.co.uk Rosemary joined ChildWise in 1994, and is responsible for child and youth research within the company. Her work covers all aspects of children’s lives, ranging from the Internet, TV, and magazines, via foods and drinks, through to educational resources, sport and leisure. She regularly writes and broadcasts on child-related subjects, and has built up expertise within ChildWise in accessing hard-to-reach groups. Rosemary has a degree in Economics. She started her research career at Research International, and went on to specialise in agricultural research at Produce Studies. She is a Full Member of the MRS, and a member of the AQR. She has three children, now more or less grown up.
	Simon Leggett - Associate Director simon.leggett@childwise.co.uk Simon specialises in quantitative research, managing major projects for ChildWise, including the annual Monitor Report. He is responsible for ongoing tracking for the Department of Transport, plus other ad hoc projects in the public and private sectors, including Internet surveys. He has extensive knowledge of computer and Internet related matters, with a background in computer games design. Simon joined ChildWise in 1998, and is an Associate Member of the MRS.
	Jenny Ehren - Senior Research Executive jenny.ehren@childwise.co.uk Jenny specialises in research with children and young people, with particular interest in qualitative research. Her areas of expertise include children’s use of the Internet, including both educational and personal use, toys and games, advertising, and publishing. Jenny joined ChildWise in 2004, after graduating from the University of East Anglia (UEA) with a degree in Business Management. She is an Associate Member of the MRS, and a member of the AQR.
	Kay Armiger - Field Co-ordinator kay.armiger@childwise.co.uk Kay joined SMRC ChildWise in 2007, and carries out the day to day contact with schools for research. Her job requires her to develop good relationships with teachers and also with admin staff within schools. She also provides general administrative support within the company. Kay has a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Huddersfield and a masters in Theatre Direction from the University of East Anglia (UEA). Back to Top
